What if
the concepts ‘having’ and ‘being’ are not the opposites
philosophers make them out to be?

What if
the product one buys
is not
the extension of the image one has of oneself
(having)
but
the true emanation of one’s persona
(being)?

What if we were to use products,
not as a means to set ourselves apart
and to separate ourselves from each other
but rather
as a way to connect and come together?
Doing so, we would rewardingly celebrate
the design,
the story,
the history and
the use of the product,
rather than
the aspiration,
the longing and
the disappointing and unquenchable seducing.
Would that not be something?
On this site, I have selected products that deserve praise
for having improved my life on a daily basis.
